Information You Submit
A name, place, or other term entered in a sponsored search box is sent to the independent provider that operates the tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy controls its handling of the query.
If you send an email or message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Automatic Technical Information
Normal web operations may record limited technical details when a page loads. Those details can include:
- the requesting IP address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- a referring page, when supplied; and
- the date and time of the request.
Cookies help measure use and support site functions. Browser controls can reject or delete cookies, though some tools or features may work differently afterward.
How Data Is Used
Collected data is used for a limited set of operational purposes:
- keeping the pages available and responsive;
- sending a search request to the selected partner;

Advertising partners may use their own technology to recognize activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on the partner's systems, not in a Dixie County government database or a record hosted here.
Parties Receiving Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may still reach a service that has a defined role:
- a search partner processing a submitted query;
- an analytics service measuring traffic;
- an advertising network serving ads; or
- law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order.
Security Practices
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used to protect information under our control. No internet-connected service can guarantee perfect security, uninterrupted protection, or a breach-proof system.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the request, a person may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. Requests should identify the data and the right being exercised without sending unnecessary custody or identity documents.
Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be revised as the site, partners, or legal requirements change. The current wording takes effect when posted here.
